Our program is built around the concept that children are born ready to learn. As caregivers, we strive to create a learning environment that is safe, stimulating and encouraging. We focus on the building of a very strong, stable, well-balanced foundation of the emotional, social, cognitive, mental and physical skills of each child. We also design challenging activities that will meet the needs of each child to accomplish their goals and be more than prepared for Elementary School and becoming very productive in the world.

When your child is in our program, we try to make it like an extension of your home. The beginning years of your child’s school life are very important because this is an impressionable age. Your child will learn to socialize, communicate and adapt to a new environment.
Children of all abilities are welcome at Bay Country Learning Center. Every child is given an opportunity to learn, be creative and socialize in an environment directed by a teacher who fosters growth the learning for each individual child’s specific abilities. Our learning activities are directed towards children of all ages with all cultural backgrounds.
From a young age, children are curious with a longing to explore, create, investigate and learn more about the world around them. Children often learn best through hands-on play, which is at the center of our child care curriculum. When children are exposed to a diverse range of stimuli in a comfortable environment, they learn faster and enjoy their real-life experiences.
Children will develop a foundation for communication, socialization and cognitive development throughout learning-based educational toys, games, lessons, trips and special visits. We know children learn at their own pace with their own style, so our certified teachers take the time to offer personalized attention to each child to foster their individual growth. Each child is given the time, attention and education they need in order to succeed and move to the next skill group.
